Got a question?

  • We believe that Tutoring is more than just about theory and questions. It's about building rapport and being in a safe space where you can ask questions freely without fear of judgement.

At Future Minds Education, we understand that no two learners are the same. So, we make sure to cater to the needs of each individual and ensure they feel supported every step of the way. Your children deserve to be heard and seen, especially on their educational journey. That's the Future Minds Education difference.

  • We run group session as well as private sessions. The group sessions that are organised change each term based on availability.

  • We are able to facilitate lessons online as well as at out office which is currently located in Northmead.

  • We like to keep the ratio of students to tutor really low so that the students have access to the tutor when they have questions. The maximum that we like to put in a group class is 10 students.

  • Absolutely! We can definitely help to facilitate a what we call, ‘private group’ session where the only students in that group are family and friends. This class runs at a different price as it is not open to the public.

  • This question is about personal preference. We recommend at least 1.5hrs per week however, we have students that attend daily and others that attend a few times per week. The lesson organisation is also dependent on our availabilities.

  • We believe that an investment in a class yields the best results. For that reason, we don’t offer free trial lessons but we can organise one lesson that you pay for before you commit to the whole term. That way, you don’t feel locked in and the student has been introduced to our environment and is happy to stay.

  • Absolutely! Word of mouth is imperative to our business so if you are happy enough to spread the word about Future Minds Education, we reward you with a one off $50 credit for every person that signs up.

  • This is a sensitive topic for many parents as many are divided on the issue. Our simple answer is that we do allocate homework however we don’t overload the student as we understand the juggles of school and life. We allocate enough homework so that we can see how the student completes the task independently. This helps us decipher whether the student has understood the theory or if we need to revise it further.

  • Yes. We follow the NSW Curriculum as well as the Australian National Curriculum. Many schools have their own order of teaching, the scope and sequence which at times doesn’t follow the order of the curriculum, however, our goal is to ensure the student is able to understand what they have been taught at school. Once they are comfortable, we can then move on to the next topic.

  • Our goal is to ensure that our students are confident, engaged and motivated learners. We want them to love learning just as much as we do. We teach for quality not quantity which means that we aren’t going to jump to a new topic if the student doesn’t understand what they are presently learning.

  • We like to ensure that our students have a strong learning foundation before we start challenging them with questions that could crush their spirits. So, we are able to coach and accelerate students but we ensure that they have solid foundation and theory in the subject before we advance them. This approach ensures that when our students finally sit an exam or attempt any questions, they are able to confidently explain the theories rather than rote learning answers.
